Memorial Fundraiser:

One of ORA's principal and most beloved Foster Moms, Bev Smith, passed away suddenly in her home before she could make arrangements for the cats in her care.  In honour of Bev, we will be setting up a special memorial fund to help care for Bev's unadoptable feline family now at ORA.  See the Donations page for more details, and contact ORA or Claudia Vecchio if you can help.

RALLY about Hamilton Animal Control
Thank you to everyone who came out to support the June 25th and July 30th  HAC-STK rallies.  Follow quotes and updates as they happen on Twitter, and check the HAC-STK website http://doiop.com/hac-stk.
The Rally also continues online, you can join it there to help stop the killing at HAC.  Click on the link below for more details: http://www.facebook.com/?ref=logo#!/event.php?eid=204493949596591
Rally on behalf of the thousands of healthy and treatable cats and dogs that are killed every year at the HAC, without being given a chance at adoption into a loving home. Be a part of a compassionate community's ongoing quest to turn a High-Kill Pound into a No-Kill Shelter. See the rally poster, in letter sized PDF and JPG, and smaller PDF for more information, it is also available as a handout flyer in 2 forms: letter sized PDF and small PDF - these print out 2 per page. Download them, print them, and pass them out to anyone interested.
