Event Information:  Come and get a picture taken of your pet with Santa. Photos with a decorative frame: $12.  Proceeds are going to pay for the care of the animals rescued by ORA-Organization for the Rescue of Animals.  Also Doggieville will hold a play-day for your dog on December 10, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm . This is a great opportunity for your dog to socialize, have fun and test his/her skills. Tickets for play-day are $10.00 and Doggieville is generously donating all the proceeds to ORA.

Protest RALLY about Hamilton Animal Control

Join us to help stop the killing at Hamilton Animal Control.  Rally on behalf of the thousands of healthy and treatable dogs and cats that are killed every year at the HAC, without being given a chance at adoption into a loving home. Be a part of a compassionate community's ongoing quest to turn a High-Kill Pound into a No-Kill Shelter. See the rally poster for more information, then download, print it, and pass it on to anyone interested. It is available in 2 versions: PDF and  JPG formats.  There is also a rally handout flyer in 2 sizes: letter size PDF and small foldable PDF, prints 2 to a page.  Spread the word.

PAWS on the SHORE HIKE for RESCUE

Location: 
Marie Curtis Park, Lake Shore Blvd. West and Brown's Line. Parking is free. Meet in the parking lot.
Time:  July 24, 10:00am - 1:00pm, rain or shine
Raffle tickets will be sold from 10:00am - 10:30am, amazing prizes to be won.  The hike will begin after that.  Make sure you bring water for your dogs.  Dogs for adoption will be there.  All proceeds from this hike will go towards ORA.


PRIDE STREET FAIR, part of Pride Week celebrations 
Location:  Booth 108, Section D, on Alexander St., just north of Yonge and College Streets
Time:  Saturday July 2, and Sunday July 3rd, 10:00am  to 10:00pm
ORA's booth will display for sale ORA T-shirts, books, custom jewelry, and many other items which make great gifts, or just for you to enjoy.  As a special attraction Tarot card reader Nadih will be available for readings, with all proceeds going to the animals rescued by ORA.

WOOFSTOCK

Time:  June 11th and 12th, 10:00am to 6:00pm
ORA volunteers will be hosting an exhibit at Woofstock, "the summer of canine love", the biggest dog festival in North America. Come and meet the founders and volunteers, adopt a new friend, purchase some of  the interesting items for sale, and help support ORA's rescue work. Admission is free.


LIONS CLUB GARAGE SALE
Location
:  Birchmount Community Centre, 93 Birchmount Ave. at Kingston Rd., Scarborough.
Time:  Saturday June 11th, 8:00am to 2:00pm
ORA will be in booth # 45. Lots of new stuff for sale, giftware, household items, pet-related items, and much, much more. Incredible prices, everything has to go as we do not have storage space.

SLOBBERFEST
Location:  Leuty Pavilion, at the foot of Lee Ave., Harbourfront, Toronto
Time:   Saturday May 28th, 9:00am to 3:00pm
