Christmas Cocktail Party for Dogs and their Human Companions Cocktail parties for dogs are a curious novelty taking the U.S. by storm. They have been warmly welcomed by dog owners who like the idea of going to a cocktail party with their pooches, and they have attracted the interest of the media and pet related businesses. ORA - Organization for the Rescue of Animals has decided to import the idea to Toronto to make it a fun and innovative event to raise money for the animals under their care.

The Christmas Cocktail party for dogs or Christmas cocktail party with your dogs (please note that dogless people are very welcome) will take place on

Sunday, December 3rd 2006 From 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.   at the Novotel Toronto Centre, 45 the Esplanade, Toronto   Champagne Ballroom and Provence Room Click here for a map

The place is gorgeous and there is even an outdoor patio with artificial grass for the doggies.

 

Dave Devall of CTV will MC the event.

 

Dogs will enjoy appetizers and will gulp down Muttinis in stylish "cocktail glasses".

 

Appetizers, a complimentary drink and cash bar will be provided for the dogs' human companions. 

 

The event will also feature:

 

	An agility and obedience demonstration, that all dogs can join in
	A fashion show for dogs
	A free dog manicure
	Massages for dogs
	Pictures with Santa

 

Live entertainment is graciously provided by Bellamusica Chamber Ensemble. There will be also a silent auction, and lots of great prizes for ticket-holders.

 

This event promises to bring enjoyment to humans and dogs.

Tickets are $50.00 and they must be purchased in advance. We take Visa and MasterCard. Leashed, friendly dogs get in free. Limit of one dog per person. Appetizers and one complimentary drink are included in the ticket price.
